EmpowerED Pathways is 501(c)(3) founded with a vision of establishing an empowered society of individuals at peace within themselves and with others.  We recently began a crowdfunding campaign to support a pragmatic solution for our vision to come to fruition.  In a world where human division, fear, judgment, and the worst aspects of our humanity are at the forefront; we’ve identified “3 Pathways of Practice” that when frequently/intentionally practiced, reverse this neurological wiring and establish neural pathways of peace and resilience. This project, The PATH coin, and EPathways Learning Platform Rewards Network establish and expands an actual economy generated by actions that promote individual well-being and societal cooperation, utilizing blockchain technology.

If every educator, student, and family member engage with this platform overtime, We The People will get to where we’ve always wanted to be.  This platform mechanizes the brain’s reward system by issuing monetary rewards when users engage the; “3 Pathways of Practice”

Practices that build awareness and equanimity

Practices that build kindness and compassion for self and others

Practices that celebrate our common humanity and break the walls of indignity

Present-day society is organized in such ways that perpetuate the effects of systemic dehumanization. For example, one’s group identity has surpassed the worth and value of the unique individual. Research findings state, “As soon as you place anyone outside of the circle of “us” the mind/brain automatically begins to devalue that person and justify poor treatment of him (Efferson, Lalive, and Feh, 2008). Healthy societies cultivate self-aware and compassionate individuals that understand and embrace our common humanity as well as the individual’s unique biology and personality. Our solution builds the network and platform to build healthy societies.

Educators and students will engage in the 3 Pathways of Practice through online activities that promote social and emotional development.  In return, they will be issued digital PATH coins that can be traded from peer-to-peer, exchanged with network participating retail/service providers, and/or exchanged on cryptocurrency exchanges for USD and cryptocurrency. The network will expand to creating mobile applications that gamify the 3 Pathways of Practice that also issue PATH coins.

Navigating the modern world illustrates the need for equanimity, compassion, and humanity. Blockchain technology provides the capability to economize these practices. The PATH coin and EPathways Learning Platform and Rewards Network aims to combine these ideas with pragmatic solutions throughout the kindergarten-post secondary educator/student experience along with the mobile gaming industry.
